I am a researcher, writer, editor and proofreader with a background in book publishing www.mandigomez.com. I have over fifteen years publishing experience in most subject areas. Much of my work is art related: Islamic and eighteenth-century European art and design and the social history of London, in particular the River Thames and London's hospitals.

I set up WEBBED in 2004 to focus specifically on text for the web. WEBBED works with clients to research, write, edit or proofread text to achieve well-written, succinct and compelling copy. My objective is to focus both on the client's needs and the reader's comfort in navigating the website.

1992 − 3 Freelance research assistant working for Katz Productions.

1994 Freelance working for the Dulwich Picture Gallery.

1996 − 9 Museum of London Publications Officer.

2000 − 2003 Freelance editor and book packager based at Art Books International, projects include books for Christie's, Ritu Kumar, the Foundry, London's Found Riverscape Project and Museum with no Frontiers.

2004 − present Freelance based in Southwark Webbed (for website editorial) mandigomez (for editorial work in print) 2 at two associates (for book design) starling design (for web design)
